Well here I am, taking a well deserved break from the slot machines, to give you, the fans, this edition on The Craps Shoot. This past weekend saw many things happen and the crowds were electric, they were on their feet ready and willing to taken in whatever was going to happen. Two great events unfolded. New Champions were crowned and Old Time Wrestling did indeed deliver what it promised.
I am happy to report I am still the OTW Junior Heavyweight Champion. People can say I’m a creep all they want. I follow the rules when it comes to wrestling and although I can’t deny Matt Miles won the battle, he did not win the war. Miles you tried and you failed, maybe if you would read the rule book every once in awhile your head wouldn’t be as thick as it is. Bazooka Joe was the first trap I set for you, and who would’ve thought Danny Miles would be the perfect decoy to prevent from taking my title. Now that was your only rematch, you will now have to reclimb the ladder if you want another shot at me. To all you junior heavyweights out there I am putting you all on warning. Now with Matt Miles out of my way it is my chance to show the world what I can do and be a champion that everyone could look up to and respect. I can’t wait to see who signs the dotted line to face me, it will be my pleasure to face off and defend my title with pride.
Sometimes the rules work for you, sometimes they work againist you. Despite my protest and the constand calls to the OTW officals. I must face facts, yes Craig Nash is no longer the Heavyweight Champion, but after much deliberation I have found out that the last man standing in this years Sole Survivor Event will be crowned the new Champion. This is right up my ally. Johnson, consider yourself lucky to still be standing after the most vicious beating Nash endured on you this past weekend. It was such a thrill to see you moun and groun with all the beating he gave you. For you fans that missed it, you now shall regret it. Hands down one of the most intense matches I ever witnessed. It was better then watching two convicts battle it out in a prison yard. Last October, with the signing of Nash, I vowed to show you people that he is the cream of the crop in OTW. This past Saturday he showed all of you what I meant. Although he is no longer the champion, that is not of concern, because I know he will deliver it back to me lock, stock, and barrell. I look at it as I just racked up alot of money at a blackjack table and have chosen to take a break and leave my chips locked at the table. The Busciacco Nation will reclaim the Heavyweight Title.
To those of you who were not in attendence last year at the first Sole Survivor, what you will witness this year will not disapoint you. Last year we saw yours truely lay out Jim Molineaux, and the recently departed Greg Hogya win the event. What will happen this year. Only way to find out is to be there live. The concept is simple. Every active OTW wrestler’s name get written down on a piece of paper, throw into a hat or bucket, and Jim Molineaux goes around to a random fan in the audience and asks them to draw two names. Those two men no matter what must go one on one with each other. After their match the victors name goes back into the bucket while the loser is sent packing. This continues until all the names have been drawn. This all the victors names are drawn again, however this time two groups of men will have to join two teams in an elimination tag match. The match will be determined when one man is left standing and that man will be declared the winner, usually the winner would be given a Heavyweight Title Shot as his prize, however this year the victor will simply win the title, due to it being vacant.
Words can not express the excitment in the OTW lockerroom. A chance of a lifetime is on the line and our fate is put into you the fans. I’m exctied yet nervous. The fact that I don’t know who I could facing sends shivers down my spine. If it happens to be a fellow stable memeber, well let me just say money will talk. But the fear of facing someone like Fuji Tanaka, The Punisher, or even Gaylord has to be a concern for me, but as I always do, I find a way around everything. This will be no different. I am now off as I feel the erge to Gamble, more news on Sole Survivor in the weeks to come exclusively here on The Craps Shoot.
